Academy - FIBA Americas coaches to participate in Spain

The Basketball Academy of the Americas and the Spanish Basketball Federation headed  by Dejose Luis Sáez, in conjunction with the Sports Director of the FEB, Angel Palmi and the Secretary General of FIBA Americas, Mr. Alberto Garcia, have developed the "National Schools Meeting ", an exchange program for training coaches.

A group of national coaches from Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Andorra and Spain will participate in this educational and training meeting, in which they will have the opportunity to attend a course of Technical Expertise, an exchange of ideas on technical concepts, and attend the finals of the European U-20 Men's Tournament to be held in Bilbao.

The coaches meeting is the beginning of an exchange cutting edge program that promotes lifelong learning, facilitating the creation and development of professionals capable of a profound change in basketball.

Coaches will learn new approaches in basketball direction, as well as the opportunity to socialize and meet coaches with different point of views on the teaching of basketball. Prof. Mario Pesquera and the Director of Basketball Academy, Prof. Victor Ojeda, will attend the activity.
